1. A nurse will administer special eyedrops to make your eyes numb. You won't be given a general anesthesia - you'll be awake during the entire procedure.

  2. After a few minutes you'll be directed to the Excimer Laser operating table. This is what it looks like:

  3. The surgery takes about 5 minutes per eye. This is what Dr. Astudillo sees...

  4. When the procedure is finished you'll be seated for a brief period of observation.
